Research-use only.
Every compound catalogued in the archive is supplied under a single, uncompromising condition: it is for laboratory research, and nothing else. The following statement governs that condition.

Intended use.
R1.01All peptides and reagents offered by Fortress Peptides are sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical characterisation, and non-clinical investigational work. They are supplied to qualified research professionals and accredited laboratories for bench-scale study only.
Prohibited uses.
R1.02Under no circumstances may any material supplied by the house be administered to humans or to animals, introduced into the human or animal food supply, compounded into medicinal or dietary products, applied topically, or used in any therapeutic, diagnostic, or preventative capacity. These prohibitions apply regardless of jurisdiction, profession, or stated intention.
Regulatory classification.
R1.03The compounds are not classified as food, dietary supplement, nutraceutical, cosmetic, medical device, or pharmaceutical drug. They have not been reviewed or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, nor by any equivalent regulatory authority, for human or animal use. No claim is made that any compound prevents, treats, diagnoses, mitigates, or cures any disease, condition, or symptom.
Correspondent’s undertaking.
R1.04By placing an order with Fortress Peptides, the correspondent certifies that they are a qualified research professional, that the ordering institution or laboratory is engaged in bona-fide research activity, and that the materials will remain exclusively within that research setting.
The correspondent further agrees to handle, label, and store the materials in accordance with the safety and documentation practices appropriate for research reagents of their class, and to keep them inaccessible to any person or activity falling outside the research-use scope.
Jurisdictional responsibility.
R1.05Local, state, and federal regulation of research compounds varies. The correspondent is solely responsible for confirming that the acquisition, possession, transport, and use of the compounds are lawful in their jurisdiction, and for obtaining any required institutional approvals.
Resale and redistribution.
R1.06Compounds supplied by the house may not be resold, repackaged, redistributed, or transferred for any purpose outside the original laboratory of record. Materials found to have been diverted from research use may result in account termination and forfeiture of future correspondence.
Acknowledgement.
R1.07Every order placed through the archive is accompanied by an explicit acknowledgement of this policy at checkout. That acknowledgement is retained as part of the order record. In the event of any conflict between informal correspondence and this policy, the policy controls.
